I made this Cradle for my Granddaughter in 1994. This
one was made of Ash, with a water based poly finish. There are no more
back issues of the magazine available, however you can buy the plans directly

The plans from WOOD are very nicely done, and easy to
follow. I found the construction tips very helpful with lots of illustrations.
Here's Mia snoozin in the cradle, she's just a week old
in this pic. The cradle has weathered three children and years of storage
well. I plan to refinish it when Mia is done with it, so it can be put
back into storage till the grand kids have their children! I can't
wait!!!
