Sold at: Wal-Mart stores nationwide from January
2009 through June 2009 for about $250.
Hazard: The compressor’s thermal overload, which shuts
the unit off when it overheats, can fail. This can lead to overheating,
melting of parts and a risk of fire.

Wagner Spray Tech Recalls Heat Guns
Sold at: Major and independent hardware and home
improvement stores nationwide from November 2004 through April 2009 for
about $40.
Hazard: An electrical component failure inside the heat
guns can cause them to continue to produce heat after the power switch

Hazard: The bump action trigger on the framing nailers
could have been incorrectly assembled during production, which would allow

Sears Craftsmen Radial Arm Saw
Emerson Tool Co. (ETC) is providing a repair kit for a
new blade guard or $100 to owners of certain Craftsman® 8", 8¼",
9", and 10" Radial Arm Saws. Sears sold the 8, 9, and 10-inch saws from
1958 through 1992. The 8¼" saws were sold from 1990 through 1995.
These saws were sold without a guard that covers
the entire blade. Some consumers have contacted the blade or have been
hit by wood kicked back by the saws, resulting in amputations, fractures
and lacerations.
A new guard and replacement bench top are available with
no cost to the consumer!

Milwaukee Electric Tool Corp. has received four
reports of drill switches sticking in the on position and one report of
a hand injury. DEWALT has received three reports of drill switches sticking
in the on position but no reported injuries.
The drills were sold under the brand names, Milwaukee
Electric Tool 1/2" drills and DEWALT 1/2" Stud & Joist Drills.
