Easy Christmas Projects!
2005
This was a fun project, and great for gifts too. For each decoration, you'll need a four foot piece of clear 1x10 pine or poplar. The lil guys stand 37-3/4" tall and sit on a base that is 8"x10"

Packages are random sized wooden blocks. The edges are
eased with a 1/8" radius bit, and painted. The ribbon is standard 1/4" ribbon, but split along it's width. |
Use your creative powers to make these guys come alive! |

The lights are strings of mini lights w/ 35 bulbs. There
is a thru hole the size of the bulb, and a counter bore sized to the plastic socket. The counter bore is 5/8" deep in the 3/4" stock. If you can't find strings of lites with 35 bulbs, just add more places for lights! |

Holes are carefully spaced to look nice, and also
close enough so the wire stretches between the lite holes. If you add more lights, be sure to consider this before drilling holes! |
