       Motorcycle....

This is my ride: a 2004 Kawasaki 1600 Classic. I bought it new in March of '04. All stock except for the luggage rack and sissy bar. I haven't been on a bike in 15 years.

Look at them white sox! HA!

Patty doesn't like the pegs, thinks her knees are too high. She wants floorboards, and lower too. So that means the stock pipes are gonna have to go. There way too quiet anyways.

After the pipe change.

I decided on pipes made by ShoGun Exhaust. They drop the pipes 5" giving me room to install rear floorboards that hang down that much.

1+" head pipes with 2+" slip-on muffler bodies(except shorties). 2+" full-coverage heat shields included. Optional baffles available separately for some models. Complete with all mounting hardware and brackets for hassle-free installation.

I tried a kawasaki windshield, but it was way too low. After market hardware is damn ugly! I liked the Kawasaki hardware for the windshield, so I contacted Clearview Shields and had them make a larger screen to fit on my hardware.

Good view of the rear mud flap. You can also see how much lower the exhaust is.

I need support hardware from a Nomad, which has the same bolt pattern as my rear peg hardware. I found this support hardware on line for more than a fair price (thanks Jack!)

You can see how close they are to the new exhaust, about 1/8" of clearance.

Cobra Boulevard Passenger Floorboards - Kawasaki

Cobra Boulevard Passenger Floorboards - Kawasaki

Cobra engineers designed a more forward foot position. Made of billet CNC machined aluminum finished in bright chrome. Rubber foot insert marches Cobra Boulevard front floorboards for added style.

Spot light on the front are from Kawasaki, you need to be a rocket scientist to install those! But they sure make you more visible, and that means safety! That's also a Kawasaki hiway bar, fitted with pegs that match the Iso Grips.

The hiway bar is from Kawasaki, pegs are Kuryakyn.

Nice shot of the front mudflap, hiway bar and exhaust.

I found the mudflaps on ebay, and had them made custom to fit my ride, trim on the flaps match the paint.

I found a great web site called "Crusier Customizing" They have a place you can upload your bike pics, and you can search for accessories for your ride. I picked up the Iso Grips pictured below there, along with the cruise control.

The leather lever covers I purchased from Chilhowee Leather.

A view of the cruise control, next to the kill switch. This is a nice product, it releases the control when you apply the front breaks. It's a little pricey but well worth it on a long trip when your right hand is all cramped up!

Mustang seats with riders backrest, saddle bags, itching to ride!
Finally got the new bags in time to put her to bed for the winter. Again I purchased them from Chilhowee Leather. Some of the best leather products I've seen.

Also seen in this pic is the matching passenger backrest. Much bigger than the Cobra pad.
